The Merchistoun Hall is a stunning Grade II Listed Building located in four acres of beautiful wooded grounds in Horndean Village, Hampshire. It has played a pivotal role in the shaping of the village of Horndean over the last two centuries. The former manor house of Sir Admiral Charles Napier was built in circa 1745. The main hall is on the ground floor and is easily accessible. refreshments can be purchased from the beautiful Parklands tea room.
Merchistoun Hall is situated in the village of Horndean with good transport links to Portsmouth, Southampton, Petersfield, Brighton and London. The post code is PO8 9LJ, but if you are following your Sat Nav, please be aware that our entrance is in Murray Road.
BY CAR
Exit from Junction 2 of the A3(M) towards Cowplain. If coming from the South take the first exit or take the third exit if coming from the North. Pass Morrisons on your right and take the first exit at the mini roundabout. Turn right at the traffic lights at the top of the hill onto Portsmouth Road. Take the first left onto Murray Road. Road signs say Horndean Community Association. The entrance to our car park can be found on the left-hand side after 300yds.
